马来西亚留华同学会改选成绩出炉，莫泽林以93票成功连任会长，署理会长职则由原任副会长林国元不战而胜。
留华同学会于4月30日晚在吉隆坡中国小学感恩讲堂举行会员大会暨第六届理事会（2019-2022年）改选。莫泽林以93票，击败对手黄劭雄获得连任，后者只得8票。
除了会长一职，其他职位都不战而胜。这包括拿督刘乃好、谢雯彦、赵启发及苏耀原不战而胜当选副会长。
第一次出现巫裔理事
15名理事候选人也同样在没有竞选情况下自动当选，他们分别为宋楚雯、叶鏸鸿、秦慧婷、黄伟君、陈炳易博士、崔耀豪、陈韵传、蔡来宝、刘为义、郑建强博士、张鑫臻、爱娣、梁振聪、王惜盈及张春生。
莫泽林在选举后表示，马来西亚留华同学会第一次出现巫裔会员及理事的情况，并希望随著爱娣的加入，该会可以扮演促进人民团结的角色，让各民族之间更了解彼此。
他表示，他将带领领导层朝“一个目标、两个服务群体及三个发展方向”的目标迈进。
8月中首办就业展
他补充，一个目标是要继续提升留华人的价值及影响力，两个服务群体其一为马来西亚的学生及老师，即鼓励更多大马学生到中国留学及举办短、中及长期的师资培训。
“我们也会组织一些短期的拜访、交流及考察团让教育部的官员、督学包括校长参与。”
另一个服务群体为目前在中国的马来西亚学生，他们是我们国家的未来，我们将提供平台，期待培养出更多的领袖。
莫泽林说，三个发展方向的方向包括升学、就业及培养。
“我们在8月份会配合马中建交45周年，在大马人力资源部和中国驻马大使馆的支持，举办第一次的就业展，主要参展的企业是在马的中资及在中国的大马企业。”
会员大会也一致通过以下四项提案：
一、政府应尽速落实承认统考文凭
二、政府应承认族魂林连玉的贡献，并恢复其公民权
三、强调董教总对独中统考拥有自主权
四、增加互信，推动马中友好新里程碑

Aside from the president, all other committees were elected successfully without competition. The list includes Deputy President Lim Kok Yan, Vice President Cheah Wen Yen, Bernard Chow, Soo Yeow Guan and Lew Nai Hoh. Committee members: Te Kian Keong, Soong Chuwen, Liang Chan Chong, Chooi You Hao, Teoh Xin Zhen, Wong Wai Quan, Heng Xi Ying, Chin Peng Yee, Chin Hui Ting, Tan Yunn Chzuan,Athiff Akalili Bt Ahmad,Judick Yap Wei Hoong,Lew Wai How and Toong Chong Seng.
This election also marks a historical moment as Liu Hua welcomes Athiff as a new committee member.According to Bock, this is a first time for a non-Chinese member to participate in the committee. He believes that this will play an important part in uniting and understanding the two rich and diverse cultures.
“In the future, we will work towards one aim, two main target communities and three directions.” says Bock.
“The aim is to continue improving the value and influence of university and college graduates from China. “he explains. Whereas for the two main target communities, Bock refers to the students and also teachers of Malaysia, planning on encouraging students to further studies in China and organize teacher training programmes.
“We plan to host short-term exchanges for MOE officials, educational supervisors and school principals too.”
Another main target community is Malaysian students who are currently pursuing their tertiary studies in China. As for the three main directions, they include development in education, career and training respectively.
In conjunction with the 45th anniversary of the establishment of Malaysia-China diplomatic relations and under the support of the Ministry of Human Resources and also the China Embassy, Bock reveals that a Career Exposure Day shall be held during mid of August this year, inviting Chinese companies based in Malaysia and vice-versa to join the fair.
Lastly, four main proposals were also mentioned and discussed in the meeting, which were:
1. To urge the recognition of the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC).
2. To recognize the selfless sacrifice and contribution of Mr. Lim Lian Geok, and to recover his Malaysian citizenship.
3. To emphasis that Dong Jiao Zong remains the rightful decision maker on all matters regarding Unified Examination Certificate (UEC).
4. To strengthen the relationship ties between Malaysia and China.
